Our God-given vision is to build an Apostolic Community of believers modeled after the New Testament Church. (The book of Acts and
Eph. 2:19-21).

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become
a holy temple in the Lord.”

“And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kings of tongues.”

This is the Order of anointings God has established to govern his body. Our vision is to restore a biblical five fold church order where everyone is recognized for their gifts, (anointings), and the Priesthood for all believers becomes the pattern.

I. We are committed to Evangelize the unsaved – reach the lost for Jesus Christ. (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8)

II. We are then committed to making Disciples of those converts, (Matthew 28:19). By that we mean:

a. Teaching them the truths of God’s Word;

b. Being an instrument of Healing (body, soul and spirit), and through these (teaching and healing), to guide and enable them to grow into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:29; Ephesians 4:13).

c. to Prepare God’s people for the work of the ministry,
Training and Equipping those disciples for Service in the Kingdom of God (1 Corin. 12:7, 27-28,Eph. 4:11-12).

III. We are called and therefore committed to be an instrument of God’s grace, bringing Unity and peace to the body of Christ Universal (John 17:20-23; Ephesians 4:3-4; Psalms 133:1,3)

This is the vision (the means) by which we at New Jerusalem City Church are called to fulfill our Purpose (ultimate goal) of Glorifying God by being conformed to the likeness of God’s Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:28-29; Ephesians 3:21; 1 John 2:6; Galatians 5:22; 1 John 3:2; 2 Peter 1:3-4; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
